A new football season starts long before the first whistle. It starts with the shirt: the colours, the details and the first glimpse of what a club wants its next chapter to feel like. The 2026/27 kit cycle is already delivering bold throwbacks, cleaner classics and a few designs that will divide opinion instantly.
Eight club shirts to watch
From Barcelona’s darker “Mamba” away look to Real Madrid’s deep green change strip, these are the new-season shirts currently generating the most attention — and selected styles will be arriving soon at Q9 Sport.
FC Barcelona
A black-and-purple gradient creates one of Barcelona’s darkest modern away looks, finished with metallic gold and iridescent details. The colour story carries a clear basketball-inspired “Mamba” influence.
Real Madrid
The “Aurora Ivy” green base is paired with a subtle geometric texture inspired by the club crest. White trims and the adidas Trefoil give it a clean retro finish.
FC Barcelona
Barcelona’s classic vertical stripes return with several shades of red and blue, a detail linked to the exterior of the renovated Camp Nou. Navy sleeves and a simple round collar keep the silhouette sharp.
Real Madrid
The white base stays unmistakably Madrid, while dark green collar and cuff details are joined by maroon shoulder stripes and a lightly patterned fabric.
Bayern Munich
A crisp white shirt is framed by a navy collar with red-and-white trim. Red and navy adidas stripes across the shoulders complete a classic, highly wearable Bayern away kit.
Manchester United
United switch to a strong blue base with a subtle vertical pattern. Red adidas shoulder stripes and red-and-white trims on the V-neck and cuffs bring the club colours back into the design.
Arsenal
Arsenal’s navy shirt uses a repeating graphic pattern across the body, with gold adidas stripes and logos. Red-and-gold trims add contrast around the collar and sleeves.
FC Barcelona
The Saint Jordi edition uses a light base and a large red cross as its central feature, paying tribute to Catalonia’s patron saint. Navy trim and a circular detail inside the cross finish the concept.
“The new season starts with the shirt.”
The next chapter is almost here.
